The Ross-on-Wye Town Plan

The Ross-on-Wye Town Plan (RoWToP) has taken less than three years to produce, this may seem a lot, but it is quicker than for many similar plans.

It has been thoroughly researched, see under the menu , and widely consulted. In one way or another, a highly significant portion of the population has chosen to contribute.

Our thanks go to Flying Colours who designed, printed, and continue to print copies of the Ross-on-Wye Town Plan

The Ross-on-Wye Town Plan was adopted by Ross Town Council on June 14th 2010. To view the published plan. please click on the picture (right) which will open the 27 page booklet as a portable document file (a .pdf).

A great deal more work will be needed to realise all of the Plan but it has been deemed to be deliverable and the Town Plan Progress Group is, in conjunction with others, doing just that. The Progress being made in delivering the 32 items in the plan can be seen under the menu option.

We note that with Central Government pushing forwards on new plans for the big society where local communities are to play a much bigger part, we find ourselves in a very good position with the aid of this document to move forwards and capitalise on the governments current Localism agenda.
