To improve the quality of digital services in Ross-on-Wye.
25% of respondents to the questionnaire indicated that they did not want broadband while 50% indicated that they already have it and a further 10% registered that they don't currently have it but would like it.
Digital television provision is patchy in this area.

British Telecom confirms that there are no plans at present to upgrade the Ross exchange in Old Gloucester Road to super fast (up to 40Mb fibre optic cable) broadband under the BT Infinity programme. BT add that exchanges are upgraded based upon commercial decisions which take into account business and residential customer expressions of need, their upgrade programme is under constant review and that the position may well be different in a years time |
