18. Mountain Bike Trail

To provide a new outdoor activity facility for Ross as part of the much requested improvement to sports and leisure facilities in the town.

A demand for a mountain bike trail became apparent during the Planning for Real (PfR) consultations. Of respondents, 24% agreed there was a need for a mountain bike trail.

If created this could help to provide a much needed improvement to facilities for the young people of Ross as well as an additional attraction for tourists interested in pursuing another of the outdoor activities for which this area is well known.
