19. Ross Swimming Pool

 
To ensure that the Ross swimming pool is fulfilling the needs of its current and potential users.
 

From the written comments in answer to question 27, concerning the provision, improvement or expansion of sports facilities in Ross, a number of respondents requested that a pool for younger children be provided as the existing one is too cold. Other comments criticise the look of the pool and its size.

 
Issue
To ensure that the Ross swimming pool is fulfilling the needs of its current and potential users.
Action
Ross Town Council (RTC) to invite Ross Sports and Leisure Federation (RSLF) to investigate the condition of the pool, to evaluate the current facilities and enter into discussions with Halo as to the viability of providing specific facilities for younger children.
