To ensure that the local population knows what classes are available and that they meet its needs.
50% of questionnaire respondents indicated an interest in attending an arts and crafts club, 22% thought there should be more keep fit classes while 17% thought there should be more clubs for pensioners.
A large number of people who filled in the questionnaire answered the question about the provision of adult education but only 11.6% of those felt there were too few evening classes provided at John Kyrle High School.
There was, however, an issue around the advertising of the existing classes with many people responding that they didn't know there were any.
